The skills that are taught on these courses vary depending on the level of course taken, but at a beginner’s level, skills learnt will include cash transaction recording, double entry bookkeeping and VAT recording.

As further courses are taken, these skills will develop and be applied to more advanced practices. Being a bookkeeper is a rewarding career, and suitable for people who are strong when working with numbers, whilst also being highly organised and efficient.
